MITWPU to launch new courses

PUNE: MIT World Peace University, Pune, (private university) recently launched new courses for the academic year 2019-20. The courses include conventional Arts course, Law course, integrated course and several post graduate courses, informed officials from MIT WPU.

The bachelor‘s courses include a three-year Bachelor of Arts in Government & Administration, a five-year integrated course of Bachelor of Commerce and LLB, a three-year LLB and a two-year trans-disciplinary Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences.

The five trans-disciplinary Master of Arts programs are MA in Sustainable and Inclusive Development, MA in Compassion, Peace, Humanitarian Action & Disaster Risk Management; MA in Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship; MA in Sustainable Rural Development and M A in Ecology, Society & Sustainable Development.

‘It is noteworthy that the faculty members conducting the trans-disciplinary programs are internationally experienced. The admissions are open till the mid of August. The admission would be done on the basis of a written exam followed by a personal interview with the faculty members. MIT-WPU also provides a telephonic round of interview in case students are not able to visit the campus,‘ said the official notification from the university.
